Why it matters at scale
The same three things that make HomeAI good in a home compound across a property — and one of them is impossible for a cloud-microphone assistant to match.
A concierge that answers in the room — checkout time, the Wi-Fi, the nearest coffee, the thermostat — and remembers the stay's context. Better, more personal stays are what move satisfaction, repeat bookings, and rate. We point you at the published hospitality research rather than inventing a number.
The routine questions that fill a front desk's day — hours, directions, “how does the TV work” — get answered instantly, in-room, in the guest's language. Staff are freed for the moments that actually need a human, not the hundredth Wi-Fi password.
The brain runs on a box in the building. A guest's words are reasoned on-property and never shipped to a vendor's cloud — there's no off-site recording to leak. That's the line a consumer-assistant hotel deployment structurally cannot claim, and it's architecture, not a setting.
How it scales
This is forward-looking: the building blocks are proven at our reference property, and scaling them across a multi-room hotel is the work we're doing now with early partners.
Each room gets a node — the same in-room interface the rental runs today (a tablet, the TV, a push-to-talk satellite). The reasoning happens on the property's box, so every room works even when the internet doesn't.
The cloud control plane manages configuration — personas, device layouts, the property's knowledge — and never sees guest conversations. It's the same portal that runs the home and rental tiers, extended to a fleet of rooms instead of a single property.
Specialized agents — concierge, maintenance watcher, the proactive chief of staff — cooperate per room and report up to the portal. They propose; staff approve. Scaling the household across a whole property is exactly the design work in front of us.
